Default and trany updates

with the billet works design motor plate i was able to have a little more movement with this hog of a motor, i did dremel a little off part of the transmission case to get it to move a little closer and now a 12t pinion fits perfect. i also got some 6mm out puts from crawler innovations, i figured i'd need em. like my friend steve (reflection) said to me once " i always did like to over build stuff " lol

if you want to over build, you can use a t-maxx steel spur on the tranny if your using the addapter for the plastic one. and it makes a nice gear wine sound too

if your using the slash stuff think if you get just the spur for the t-maxx should bolt right to the slipper you have right know. found out the first summit tranny I had, most traxxas spurs fit the same bolt patterns, used a revo slipper on a t-maxx steel spur on my summit tranny and liked the set up. expecilly when shifted into second. t-maxx spur should work if the slash 4x4 worked on the axial tranny

hell ya, kinda get out of my way noise, when held wide open with the t8 power, fun times

and I think that with the t-maxx spur and the stock summit pinon for the motor has the same tooth pitch as well. but it might look like you have the right pinon though, so good

the three rigs on the right belong to nazier adam, the one on the left belongs to adam woodlee. i know woodlee build the two on the right and his own of course. the one on the far right is the one im working on. the one to the left of it is the one jerry built. and just so you guys know, aint no way i could build a rig as cool a jerry did. lol so no truck build off for me.

ya me nither jerry does some really good work, just blowing smoke

nice set of full size rigs. wounder what $ they all are if you bundled all together.

but back to your rig. I started playing with the steel gearing when I first went with a set of mad force axles, and keeped blowing the spur on the tranny, and that is what I came up with. and it worked really well for me

i'd say the worth of those rigs together is around $400,000.

Where did that extended output shaft on the tranny come from?

I'd give my left nut for the one on the left... People just don't know how bad of rig it is. Haulin the mail through the woods at Tracy City, TN at about 10 pm no lights on adams buggy, flying through the woods at about 30mph with no lights and was still pulling away from me.
