Haha it's definitely bright!!! I'm pretty sure it's rustelouem paint and the color is "sail blue". I'm gonna do a little sanding and then another coat and should look great with the satin black fenders, bumpers and top!

The blue looks sharp...a little bright, but still close and definitely different and refreshing. |

Needs finishing touches like painting door handles and putting the lights and mirrors back on. I'm very happy with the turnout!!

took it down to the ohio river today, and got some pretty good pics, as well as some carnage. and too much fun led to this... Last edited by jeeper03; 04-21-2012 at 01:11 PM. |

Paint looks great in the wild! Axle looks like it had a really bad day! What the blank happened? You've got to have some skill to snap an axle and not jack up the body |

Hahaha, I don't know if these portals are putting a lot of stress on the plastic inner C's or if the top screw came loose. I was climbing a nice incline and that tire was kinda stuffed into the side of the rock, and it looked like it unlocked and stopped spinning, but it had just pulled away far enough for the dogbone to pull out. 3 minutes after being home it was fixed but I think it's time to invest in some aluminum C's. As for the body, it did take a roll and did just fine! But this body doesn't seem as strong as the TJ body, so I saved the real beating for when I ran it after driving the jk. i was instructed that the hoop was too tall so thats being reworked, and also told it has to have the winch mount and so i ordered a rc4wd bulldog winch!waiting on that to come in so i can cut the bumper up to recess the winch!

reworked the front shock mount as the front was a little too high. and now the tire tucks nicely into the wheel well: |
