Sorry guys, but I have neglected this rig. I finally got some time this weekend. So here are some pics to give you a taste. Hope to work on it again next weekend.

I made 4 sheetmetal brackets to mount the cage. Once it is complete I will be able to bolt the cage to the frame. For colors the frame and running gear will be black, The upper cage will be bright yellow, And the body will be orange w/ silver accents. I just need to finish everything so it can be painted.

Now it's getting interesting. With BrandO and Ryan slinging tube at it, we'll see just how strong the -51 really is

The small stuff is 1/8 solid round stock. I wanted to try something a little different.

It was a damn good thing to do I kinda wanted to do something like that on the inside cage of the trekker but wasnt sure what tubing to use, that looks loke the perfect size, Ill have to try it on the next project.

Well guys I have been pretty slow on this build. I don't have much free time. Not to mention my garage is not air conditioned. So I really don't have any ambition to go out and work on it. Therefore the tube portion of this project has been put on hold. I will finish it up when it cools of here in NC. For the time being I wanted to run my BB51. So I painted up a body and bolted it all together. It crawls pretty darn good for a scale rig. Here is a few pics from today.
