Just the normal rock rash and body scuffs. I had it out for a little bit on Saturday. We went to a 1:1 get together in Trinity NC. We broke out the little rigs for a bit. Everyone that saw the truck liked it. I think I may need to stiffen up the front shock springs a bit. It is a little floppy in the front. But otherwise it crawls very well. We are going back out on the 30th. I will post up some pics from that get together. Maybe even a little video.

Default Back from the dead

Well just recently I have brought this build back to like. It had been sitting on the shelf waiting to be finished. The Scale comp in GA next month is what lit the fire. Thanks Jason for getting the fire started under my butt. I wanted something to bring that was truely one of a kind. So here is my progress.

I finished up the tube portion of the upper cage. I made a spare tire mount. Made a roller fairlead for my winch. I still have to make a mount for my radio gear box. And I have plans for a inner tube in the rear portion of the truck. Need a bed to haul your gear. I am also planning on doing an interior. But not sure if I will finish that before Augusta.

Took a few pics. Soon I will be stripping it down for paint. The rear portion of the body will be cut off. I am going to make some custom side panels that will be dovetailed.

Enjoy the pics.

They kind of follow the same shape as the body. I was thinking of cutting the doors to match the contour of the door bars. Same way guys cut the doors on 1:1 rigs.

Damn dude, this last update is really looking good. I was wondering what happen to the tube portion of this build. An interior shouldnt be to bad to do, maybe pick up some of the recaro cell phone seat things, and a dash from maybe a nylint would work? Either way its looking awesome cant wait to see it with some paint on it.

Thanks for the comments guys. I just drew up some dimensions for the rear inner tub. And I was figuring out how I wanted to mount my winch servo. My led light kit got here today. Man I have a butt load of work to do.

And I got one of those fancy Montana Scale Designs hi-lift jack on the way. Together with some other scale goodies this thing should be the Nuts.

I like how you integrated the roller fairlead into the lexan winch housing.

Nice job. Looking forward to seeing it in Jan.

Hey man I just wanted everyone else to be able to enjoy it as well. I felt kind of bad for knowing without everyone else knowing.

Brandon, your detail is impeccable as always.

May I make a suggestion?

With the weight of this jeep, all the parts on it and a BL revolver motor, those plastic yokes on the drivelines are gonna break right away. You may want to get steel ones or put maxx shafts on it.
