Are you going to make a shifter that moves when you shift.

This is the coolest build I have read on this site, hands down. Both of your talent is out of this world. Keep up the great work and keep the pics coming!

This is such an amazing build. What are your plans for a column and steering wheel? I think one of these would look great in there. Or if you have a different design you would like, all I need is a pic of what you would want. |

I have to make all the Dash Parts next, I'm not sure what style yet because I dont want to make it Landcruiser Specific. You'll see what I mean later...... | |

Bit of progress well not really been a little busy with other things. Been trying to get the Wiring in place for this Bad Boy!! My cunning Plan for hiding all the wires inside the Floorpans has worked a treat Top side (hmm nice Series 1 Landy in the Background before anyone asks!!) Underside just what I was after I'm pleased with that. I had to extend the Junfac Driveshaft so it reached the front Axle. Did this with some Stainless Tubing and a Spot of Brazing Last edited by Dready; 10-13-2012 at 03:57 PM. |

| Re: FJ40 The Twins 'A Dready and Difuser Production' I'm not I hate wiring with a Passion and by adding the Dashboard it just got a whole lot worse. 4 Switches and 5 LED's just added another 18 wires to the Equation. I kept the Dashboard Simple, I went for a Landcruiser outline and then added a Dash Piece from 'Team 3 Six' and also a Lower Panel that will house the LED's. The Switch in the Centre of the Dash actually Works and will command the 4 Different Circuits that I need to control. Pictures HELP!!! |

AWESOME build!!! It would be bada$$ if you could attach a shifter to the actual shift rod on the transmission, looks like there may be room.

Proof for Dan I have to add a couple of resistors to the Inside Dash ones to dull them down a touch. Still a bit more tidying up to do yet!! |

Progress Driver Number 2 turned up today and is around a 1/2'' Inch larger than the last Chap. I opted for a Neca 'Hartigan' I have used the Marv figure before and know that he fits with some surgery. This is what he started off looking like. These figures are pretty easy to work with. I cut him in half then Boiled his legs in some Water for a couple of minutes. Got those in the desired position then sunk him in some cold till they held there shape. Glued the Torso Back on and added some paint. Sorted looks just right size wise in the 40. I might just mount him just a touch lower to help his legs clear the Steering Column. I Wont know that till I make that part. Some Pictures |
