Yep hope you don't mind but it locked the body on and got the bumper high and where the winch needed to sit. Colour: The Audi Brown is interesting. I like the Seafoam on the bug classic.... I have been thinking the same thing colour is going to be a big choice. The cage would look good with some colour but you gotta paint the lower black like Proffit did in the rear. I was going to do the WideLux in Kermit Green might be a good choice. IT was pS-25 |

Dans been working like a machine this weekend and I really appreciate it. Pictures Simple front end i'm not one for stingers think they look daft so Dan reworked the one he added. Simple Door bars Windscreen bars are in and the Roof Bars I think are my favourite part. All those little bars that join the two parts together must have been a nitemare!! There all Fish mouthed as well |

Thank guys, i think I'm gonna miss this when it's time to pack it up and ship it out. I guess I'll have to console myself with the -45 when it arrives. I'm hoping with the 3day weekend coming I'll be able to wrap up my portion of the build. Then off to Neil to go nuts with styrene. Front suspension mounts for the 3link, shock towers, winch plate and a few small mounting points are all that's left. The body fits so tight to the cage work that a couple of RC4WD scale bolts are all that holds the ears at the back of the body. Neil I'll send a pictorial of how and where to pull to get the body off. Norms HillBilly Hotrod will be coming up along with my -45 and a new C3 for after Nats. It will be -40 based..... |

Man I only hope to have skills like this. I still don't know how you get your styrene work that clean. I always end up with some part glued to myself and start cursing.

They are, and I squat when I pee... It keeps the missus happy The weight is looking promising. 5.4 lbs full cage work, motor, tranny and tcase all metal. Battery and Neil's crazy Styrene work will be the major additions. I'm thinking this could be a 7lb truck when it's done, light for a scaler Last edited by Difuser; 09-01-2012 at 08:35 PM. |
