Thanks. After I got it all put back together, I stood back and said "Wow, that looks kick ass". Takes alot for me to say something like that about something I built.

I am still continplating chopping off the top chassis bars just behind the rear light bar. Would give the rear end more of hatch back look.

Looks really mean:thumbup: Personally, I would leave the bars on the back. I think it will look too sloped in the rear without them. Keep up the good work

Drives good too. Need to add some cushion to my bump stops. Smaller pinion, winch and some small graphics in the mail

Quick iPhone video for the lights. Thanks to Roland Rock Shop for the LED's.

I love it, I wasn't sure what it would look like at first but wow did this build turn out good. I know I'm new here but not to building and you guys have great ideas. I do have a question... are you worried about the servo horn getting hit? Or it is just out of the way?

Thanks. I might be able to fab up some servo arm/drag link protection. These are the VP aluminum axle housings so I can drill and tap them for mounts.

WOW! Honestly the chassis itself looked a little too interesting for me, but its come full circle true KOH rig, which not many are. Huge props. I love the decals too, from a hilux I believe?

My vote is that it's perfect except for the light bar. That plastic looks scared.
I'd fab some steel...and paint it black. My two cents. Killer build all pulled together.

Kinda how I was thinking but I could see it RTR as the bare chassis. I had a vision.
Crawler Graphics Hilux decals from RPP.

Notes taken. The Exo light bar was simple and had the lines I was looking for. Couple hacks with a Dremel and some 1/8" rod to pin it back together. I'll check out some 1:1 KOH builds and see what I can come up with.

Stickers definitely give it a more finished look.
