| Fallout themed Twin Hammers 2.2 trail truck.
Started my Twin Hammers 2.2 trail build. Stock electronics for now, but plan on plenty of upgrades there. Intent is to turn it into a moderately fast trail truck. Also posted over on the twin hammers forum. Still a WIP, but the bulk of the cosmetic work is done. So far it has: Locked front Heavy rear sway bar Redcat RS10 2.2 wheels with proline flatirons, non xl. Desert truck body swap custom painted with fallout 1 theme. Just ordered scorched parts bellcrank and upright shock mount, and king off-road 80mm shocks for front. Going to stick with 2.2 on this rig though going to stay on the smaller side, I hear big tires break things on these trucks. The flatirons are a small 2.2 at 4.8 high but works well with this truck. Unfortunately the flatirons are also very soft and not well suited for fast stuff :( Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk Last edited by Damatheus; 08-02-2017 at 07:00 PM. |

| Re: Fallout themed Twin Hammers 2.2 trail truck. Thanks. Have some work to do still on the cosmetic. Scale accessories, some window coverings, armor panels, and going to 3d print some nuclear waste barrels. Just ordered a hobbywing wp1080 esc. Trying to decide on best motor for it. You have to get the rear truss to stop the torque twist and I recommend a medium rear swaybar. It made a world of difference on mine.

Got my roof rack, driver, window bits, and some accessories installed. Still waiting on screws to arrive for the scorched parts steering upgrade. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk |

Got my scorched parts upright shocks with bell crank installed. Awesome kit, steering is much improved. Shocks look good with the truck body. Need to paint them to match the post apocalyptic theme still. Got the power armor mounted on the roof as well. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk |

Some shots from a recent outing with over 40 trucks. Recently swapped the factory 15t for an RC4wd 35t, and relocated the battery to inside the tub. Huge difference in capabilities. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk Last edited by Damatheus; 12-19-2017 at 01:54 PM. |

You had mentioned how soft the tires were. Have you upgraded the foams yet? I really enjoy the flat irons as they are a good all around tire for a semi go fast rig with the right foam setup

@phins fan. I am still using the factory proline memory foam. Because I've dedicated this truck to trail and crawl duty, I decided it won't need high speed stability. With the new 35t motor, even in second gear it isn't fast anymore. However, I may still put some dual stage CI foams in to help with side hill stability. The TH is already blow and great at side hill, but reducing the tire rolling over would help. The stock proline foams allow the tires to roll almost all the way to the wheels in extreme cases.
