Tires look larger in the picture than they actually are for some reason?

Tires measure 5.25 unloaded. But i am only 10 5/8 wide so that is fine.

Looks awesome. Now comes the part where you hide everything. Looks like you planned the layout good, so that should help.

You still doing 4ws on this?

Thanks, I appreciate it.
I noticed the unlimited class are running the links high in the rear, obviously for clearance. So instead I did a slight bend. I figure 1:1 weigh too much for light bent links.

I'm digging the build (even though I'm not a buggy fan) but those tires are killing it for me. So many scale options now, I think the new 2.2 Growlers (when available) would look AWESOME on that. I really wish there were more tire options in the 5.2" range, that would be money!

Well.....I agree with you damit. LOL

But i don't like the u4 performance. Everyone has swampers and pitts. I will check out the 2.2 growlers.

I always wanted to Cut and Shut 1.9 BFGs to fit 2.2s. I bet those would fall in line at 5.2 x 1.8-1.9". Perfect sizes. The lugs are the right size on the 1.9s, and the BFG are a great comp buggy tire.

Actually I think I am going to order 6 x 1.9 BFGs right now. Dead of winter here, so might as well put new rubber on...

The bfg and rip saws are absolutely horrid here where I live for our rocks. I have seen them hook up well in the west. But here they are just terrible. I am kind of picky about tires.

Well I changed axle color. I guess I got tired of the standard black. Once I finish them they should be ok. Servos and everything silver. LOL. I figure I can paint in the details. I should have went with a grey. But it's done now.
