Well I had a little time this weekend to work on the Camaro.
I have been a Mark Martin fan from the time he climbed behind the wheel, and a big portion of my paint jobs when I was racing were Mark Martin themes, (even won concours sp. at Offroad Nationals in Colorado in the 80s with one of his themes.) Anyway I wanted to do a tribute to him with this one. He ran so many colors and sponsers at the end of his career that I didn't think I needed a color theme. So, a Valvoline is what I went with!

I rework the links a little and put together a shorter set of kyosho velvet shocks for the rear.

Also got all of the new tires and wheels mounted up.

And the messy shop photo.

Thanks Harley, your cad drawings were a great help in getting this build going! I wish I had the patience to learn some of these programs. Kelly Lunsford offered to help me with one of his programs once and and it just wouldn't sink in!!! I guess this dog is to old to learn new tricks.

Turned out great, love the simple detail panel above the spare tire. It's the little things

Dig it.

Thanks, I had those left over from my carpet oval days. (Like, 15 years ago.)
I'm working on getting the cockpit done and in. Maybe next week?

Codyboy, I just spent a few hours going through your builds. What can I say other than you do outstanding work! I think you are on par with some of the best tube builders on here. Your cages have a unique style that's really cool. You don't skimp out when building as there is no shortage of really nice parts. I love your different Jeep builds! Anyway I hope you are winning your battle with health issues. I don't want to get sappy but know that your builds contribute so much and I am sure I speak for everyone on here in saying that we enjoy your builds and hope that you can keep on doing what you do!
