The SWX is a very sexy looking chassis Brad The skid looks like it's drilled for the Axial tranny without a dig system?

Thanks guys.

Norm, the skid is drilled for the AX10 tranny. The side plates also accept the R2D tranny. You'll probably have to drill new holes to run the VF Dig. I'm not sure how the CKRC dig unit fits yet. I have one here, just need to try and get it installed. Once I get my tranny set-up in the new chassis, I'll post dimensions for the tranny holes.

Thanks Brad. I'm still running TLT axles and with the new chassis would I need me to change the lengths of my upper and lower links?

No problem.

If you're switching from an SW3, the link lengths should be almost the same.

Perfect I have some nice Rocksmith titanium links on my SW3 that I've become attached to.

Double ditto. Two open sides, or two solid sides would kick ass. I could just swap out my sw3 plates for these.

Do 55mm standoffs still work on the chassis?

With an r2 tranny butted all the way forward you may pull it off. I saw Jason put one in his SW3.

I'll see what I can do on the chassis plates.

The standoffs are actually going to be about 50mm's now, because of the thicker chassis plates.

Just like JRH mentioned, it should just fit, but you'll need new tranny mounting holes in the skid if I remember right. It's tough to make a chassis that'll accept all motor and tranny combos.

What would be the eye to eye length for both upper and lower links using the Axial Axles. I am ordering custom links and once cut that will be it. Thanks

That is a nice chassis, I like the anodize and the logos, nice touch. Will a solid skid be available with no holes, for berg owners?

The links should measure just under 4" to the center of the rod ends.

Thanks. I might be able to do something like that too for the Berg builders.

Here's a few pics with the AX10 tranny mounted up.
