...do you want me to say it now or later?? sorry cant wait...told ya so:roll:

Now, when you get your DNA and Hanks truck actually has a little meat between its potatoes maybe we'll invite you down to wheel with the big boys:lol: cause obviously by the looks of that frame Hank has a pretty light foot and take alot of bypasses:flipoff:

K Riccardi 11-04-2008 11:34 AM

Does anyone know who has the DNA dig in stock? I cn't seem to find one anywere. That is the reson I went with the CKRC in the first place.

K Riccardi 11-11-2008 08:24 PM

Hank ordered a DNA dig from RPP. It should be here by the end of the week.:)

Well he got bored and wanted to change some stuff around. He started by making a new mounting plate for the receiver that will go on the rear links.

http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...Grapler001.jpg

He also moved the lipo from under the stock battery plate to the top of the front links. He also made a plate to mount the Momba between the body mounts on the passenger side.

http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...Grapler004.jpg

We could not tell much of a difference on performance with the changes we made. It is hard to tell from the couch wheeling. There will be a more thorough test tomorow on Hanks backyard test facility.

Hank has a little comp on sunday and wanted a new body that was a little bit more comp friendly so he went with a Grappler.:-( Not my first choice but he likes it.

K Riccardi 11-11-2008 09:02 PM

The power wagon will be back. I think Hank is going to cut it up some though. The rockers hang up on everything. I do think it has better rollover recovery to.:)

crunky 11-11-2008 09:18 PM

oh man, cut it up ?????
ed's not going to like hearing that.

samb. 11-11-2008 09:22 PM

K Riccardi 11-12-2008 05:03 AM

I have never noticed other people running them the wrong way.

I think they work very well the way they are.:)

K Riccardi 11-12-2008 07:41 PM

I had to move some pix around for Hank, are they working for ya?

K Riccardi 11-16-2008 07:58 PM

Hank has been working on the truck again. I will post some pics for him soon.

He did have a comp today. He placed 2nd out of 12(?). Not to bad for his first real comp. Here is one of the pics that I thought was cool. Thanks Heavy Metal Doc for the pic."thumbsup"

My mom told me "properly securing my rig" would lead to blindness and/or hairy palms. :)
