|
Man that body looks sweet!!! Hank you da man......."thumbsup" |
im not likeing how there is so much uncovered rear area showing |
No electronics or anything on the back axle, so there is no need to have the rear axle covered by the body. Im sure it is, but is that body atleast 12.5" long? Cant wait to see it painted up UA style "thumbsup" |
Hank's the man! He's got such a nice rig and his wrenching skills are awesome! Hank's thread is one of the best I've read  Does Hank have a name for his dog?? |
i love the looks, but it wouldnt cover my esc from looking at the pics. ill wait till kanes come in befor i buy mine;-) |
Hank has been saving his pennys and finaly decided to make the jump to a comp chassis and skid. JPCustomsRC ShaftD Chassis http://www.jpcustomrcs.atomicshops.c...30/6432364.htm East End Machining Skid http://www.shop.rpphobby.com/product...productId=1300 |
now i can't make my mind up on what chassis to run was going to get a swx but this looks sweet to"thumbsup" |
Hank should have the rebuild done and the bugs worked out by the MDRCC series opener March 1st. You can check it out then.;-) |
Hank got his parts in the mail from JP & EEM. http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...awler/hank.jpg Now Hank just needs to find the time to work on it.:-( |
Hank was busy all weekend. I think he has a girl friend but he is not talking. He did have some time to compare the ShaftD Chassis to the stock one. The new one is not as tall as the stock one and it has alot more ajustability than the stock chassis. http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...caler006-1.jpg |
I finaly kicked Hank in the @ss and got him to work on his truck. Before rebuild. Driver side http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...er/hank001.jpg Pass side http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...er/hank003.jpg Front http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...er/hank002.jpg Rear http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...er/hank004.jpg |
Here are some pix of the mockup of the new chassis. http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...er/hank005.jpg http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...er/hank006.jpg We moved the trans forward about a 1/4 and narowed the skid about 3/16. Hank also swiched to bent links in the front. He hopes they will hold up. Time will tell. I need to pull the dig apart for him as it is slipping and we have been waiting on parts from DNA. Been waiting sence the very begining of January.:-( Thanks for looking. KR |
