did a little work on the rear axle lock out slop with spacers i made from 1/4" brake line drilled out to fit the axles....these two pictures shows the in/out movement of the axle....

i drilled out a section of 1/4" brake line to start to get the I.D. i needed to slide over the axles, then cut them with my tube cutter....filed the ends square and to length then beveled the inside a bit to remove any burr's....

now i have no in/out play to the axles ..................bob

I have been watching this thread for a while now.
I like the way you use easily found items in your shop and around the house to get things done. Seems as if your taking the time to get everything just right. My only question is what does the cat think about you obliterating its kitty litter box?

started bending some tube up after i made a mandral from a 5/16" bolt to fit 3/16" brake line to keep it from kinking....i made it from some 3/8" brake/tranny line and mounted it between two washers....

i added some length the frame from the drawings i had and so far this is what i have done so far....

i just need to make up a jig to hold things as i start brazing it together....stay tuned for more action folks ...............bob

made a frame jig for brazing the tube to where i can mount the frame upside down and upside right, plus keep it symetrical while clamping it down....i also made a clamp from an old hose clamp....

so far this is what i have for the frame till i get some more 3/16" tube to finish up the roof and some sheet steel for the shock and link mounts....
