Default finally started build............

well after a while of reading till my eyes were red....asked a bunch of questions that a lot have answered quickly, thx to all ....i have been following 4 or 5 builds by some as bender, tanis and some others that knew what they were doing, thx....after reading what has, hasn't worked and used a few idea's from each....right now i have what i could get done till i get the baby shark bender fer my tube frame and some skid material to make some different skids to try....i read a lot bout parts that work well and have bought most of what i thought would be a good start, from vendors here RPP, Holmes, TCS just waiting for word on yota when bonus line lockers will be ready....but i did get some SS lockers fer now....here's some pic's fer now till i can start bending tube, won't go into detail as most know parts when they see them, thx fer looking ............bob

i didn't start with any kit i just boughts the stuff that most likely get changed out anyway....parts i went with for the axles are STNC straight axle lock out in orange, axial CVD's and there clockable C hubs and knuckles and just bought bearings, housing on there own....cougars mounted on VP dirty harrys comp wheels in orange, kinda going for an orange theme on the tube farme also....bought good electrics DX3R w/3100 rx, hitec 225 for dig and 7955 for steering, CC BEC and sidewinder ESC with holmes handwound 540 powered with 10 cell elight 1500 saddle pack and deans all around....bought all the fastners from RTL in 50 packs each piece so i'll have spares....3/16" brake line using safety-silve 45 to braze it up....i'm making all my plates i'll need from 1/8" alum stock plus with the dubro rod ends and 6/32 threaded rod i'm taping the 3/16" brake line to use them in i'm making my own links to go with the losi 4" shocks....not sure if to droop or sprung yet, i'm sure i left something out i don't remember now ...........bob

Wow that's looking nice, and that's a hell of a battery you got there, it should give you plenty of punch and wheel speed...I also like all the aluminumparts too, I see those in my future...

here's the tube frame plans, the shock and link holes aren't put in yet....each color line will be all one lenght of 3/16" brake line in that color....the blue lines will will be 3 pieces, one below and 2 above the red lines....each square is 1"x1" so this will be within comp spec's.......bob
