I disagree, I have my links mounted on top of my four link plate and it works fine. You can plainly see the upper shock mount pinched against the chassis and the caps wrenched over. Change this first, it's easy, just put the plastic spacer/battery mount back in and try it.

Default Success!

Yes i did get it figured out, I put everything back to stock and moved the bottom links inward more and flipped the shocks. I also weighted the tires and put the blue spring in the left rear with a spacer.

not sure what the angle is though.

Thanks for all your help and eventually will be working on a 4-link setup.

well good for you... glad to see you got it. one thing i have learned, is to take it slow. i know you feel the need to change and modify to make it better. that all comes with time. i have had mine for 2 weeks and it has had different shocks, droop, full suspension, 60/40. just find what works for you. my thing now is, narrowed rims. i took 3/8" off of them. stood them puppies right up, gave it more of a go anywhere stance. i had to try it before i spend $100+ on new aluminum bead looks.

next project for me is a "tuber frame" just have to find the right one. choices are numerous. $49-$350. LOTS of research.

no photo's yet. i didn't think that far ahead, for the build. performance, they are great. the sides bite more, they grab everything. it stands the chassis up more, i am running 60/40 shocks, so the difference in the height doesn't seem to matter. it steers better, less of a contact patch so it is easier to turn them. stock rims, tires and foam. i just cut the foam in 1/2. the rims sealed back up, so i drilled holes in the, that made a big difference as well.

it is a learning experience. mostly trial and error.
