These screws are much smaller than the first Fastback...they are the same as the screws used on the Viper.

The mans got a point. I like the tiny course thread screws myself. I wished my Fastback would of had the smaller screws like my Viper does.

I say use the screws that you feel are stronger. Oh and the new top looks great. Glad I made the list. Now the decision is to keep the OG "team edition" chassis I have now or to sell it........... Ya your right keep it.

I finally got this mounted onto my dead Fastback...A broken transmission is holding me up I really like the way this mounts now....the shocks sit at a much more natural position. It must have been pretty tight before, because I didn't have this much flex before. Almost more than I like, but at least now I can control the travel more precisely. No contact between the shocks and chassis. I really want to get the same Traxxas/Crazy Origin setup I have on my Viper Since I will be gone until next Sunday, I've asked Team Driver Flapjack if he would mount this top onto his Fastback, and run it around for awhile. He should be able to give you a better heads up towards the end of the week.

C*H*U*D , I assume from the pictures that the front shock crossbar does not fit the Fastback I, is this right.

Thanks for the PM in addressing my Viper! Now that's customer service!!!! Can you snap a pic of the shocks near the links? Curious if the shocks hit the links when it's flexing... My FB1 does but just starts to at full flex. Also where are your shocks located on the diff? |

Everything is looking very nice Juan... can't wait to get this rig, built it right, and running smooth... the new shock mount looks very structurally sound and as your flex shot proves, not binding at all... FASTBACK II.... are those paint jobs on yours and Duuuuuude's trademarked/patented/copyrighted? |
