so it wasn't the tranny gears, it was a small piece of Robinson racing spur gear stuck in the teeth. The spur looks chewed up somewhat. I have a 14t pinion and a 93t spure, is that a bad combo?

Thought of a few mods to lighten up the dig and the servo mount for the dig. There's enough room to slip a mini servo down between the rear drive shaft and motor. The original servo mount holds the servo on it's side, and even if you angle the mount the weight of the servo is still hanging up there. servo mount is just a piece of aluminium tubing and the servo will be zip-tied to it. |
