im glad to say those pics are older... I have wraith vp knuckles with xr10 shafts, and just got my cw xr10 steering arms today I have a bwd sss-r clear chassis on the way here... and im running a hs7980th servo set at 7.2 thru the castle bec... I also have custom fiber servo gaurds and a motor gaur coming in red color from winnerone23 super stoked! ill post current pics tonight

What thickness polycarbonate did you use?

no idea lol... don at bwd did it up for me I don't even know if its polycarbonate or something else im guessing it is though all I know is it looks sick! and its torsion! (its a clear sssr from billet works designs)

yah, no kidding! I might have to have my gma sowe up a custom cover for it... lol, hopefully she will all I know is I cant wait till Tuesday to run this chassis! ill be sure to get video!

I have to say that looks the biz! A clear chassis will show the scratches pretty easily, do you plan on painting it at all?

I'm rebuilding my sss, love the way these torsion chassis conform to the crawl

it seems pretty sturdy! drove it a little yesterday I burned up my hs7980th ooops to much voltage possible? (7.4 on bec) "I have to say that looks the biz! A clear chassis will show the scratches pretty easily, do you plan on painting it at all?

It wasn't the voltage in any way shape or form.. its a 7.4v servo and some guys run 7.4v servos straight off of 2s batteries..

I lean towards epa's bein set wrong.. maybe how it was wired..

Im with troy on that... contact Hitec and see what they can do for you. That always sucks when a servo dies!

That chassis material is probably Lexan. If you decide to paint it, be sure it says safe for Lexan on the can. The solvents in most regular spray paints will cause Lexan to craze and torsion will turn to Snap! Cleaners with chemicals like ammonia will ruin it too. Did that kit come with body mounts?
