Love those spools, I never managed to score any.
The gear set you've installed in the heavy duty option for the standard gears AX30402 is the UD gears 43/13. You will still be under driven if you have OD (AX30401) in the front, just not as much as others.

As requested by highlucks I figured I would update with some body post I made from stuff from lowes. Went out and bought some nylon hardware and some RIT DYE. I'll just drop a few pictures. I'm waiting on a few things before I cut the body post down to the correct size. And damnit Cameron you got me all pissed about ordering the wrong gears now.

Edit : sold the gears that I didn't need and ordered a set of underdrives only spent 39 cents more

I'm waiting on some new side plates then I'll post a picture of them mounted up

I love it . Not a thing to complain about . Super quiet. Even helped bring home a second place finish at my first comp yesterday. learned a few things about the truck and gonna be doing some tuning on the suspension before east coast championship. All in all I'm overly impressed with the truck transmission and wheels everetty did a great job on the tires. here's a little view of the Atlanta skyline from on top of stone mountain . And another picture of the truck posted next to its first podium plaque p

Well east coast championship was a blast, the first real comp for this rig. It performed very well my driving wasn't so hot on the first course. And the 3rd course I hit a boundary line not paying attention to my rear tires. Forth course I tied it up with nick justice for the lowest score. All in all I had a great time crawling with Barry @ classicutcustoms. And few of the other guys on the forums such as sic1to "all the way up! Crawllife, winnerone23. The comp was a blast and I'll definitely be back next year. I placed 12th nothing Impressive but I'm happy I was in dead last and I feel I did amazing for my first real comp. Give it time guys I'll be breathing down your necks.

With that said here is the results from ecc 2016

Rcbros aluminum tubes have been installed finally been sitting on the work bench for almost a month now. Notice the top plate on the second chassis? And no top plate on my main chassis? Well I got a package coming in tomorrow that's going to take care of that and a second skid plate. Is burns building a second sporty? Why yes I am my oldest son I believe deserves a comp rig a little father and son bond time. Stay tuned plenty of pictures tomorrow

Well after ecc I wanted a different top chassis braces design for the classicutcustoms bulldog transmission which is amazing by the way. So I contacted Don and gave him my idea and he went to designing this new top chassis braces I think it looks outstanding. And weight difference I'm not sure my battery's for my scale were stolen for my sons woody (toy Story) doll awhile back. I'll get weight differences in the future I also received a new transmission plate for my second chassis that I'm building for my son transmission screws are temporary

Been crawling with a local group GA Rock zombies who has hosted a series with a unlimited class. I took first place a few weekends ago one more event for the finals.

I've also started gathering parts for my sons build I'll be using winnerone23 electronics tray on this build that was given to me at East Coast championship.
