As Kevin said, the overall length is 13.0"..

The wheelbase is identical. All the link, tranny, and shock mounts
are the same between the X-Trail and XTS. The only difference is the
overall length. The XTS chassis is great for those shorter lexan
bodies like the land cruiser..

Builds are looking sweet guys

Nluvwithxlr8ing, the trucks looking good!
Thanks man! I couldnt belive how simple and easy this thing went together. I did make my own hole in the shock tower for now, until I get slightly longer shocks so just ignore that Hopefully I will have it running tomorow!

What brand/size shocks are you running?
Thanks, they are 3 racing shocks for the mini inferno, 2.4" long I think... About the same size as TC shocks but a lot more travel

Well I have a few hours to work on it so here is the first update! Hopefully I will do a few more before I realize I need to get to bed

Flex shots, and the body I chose. Next shots will hopefully have a painted body and the start of the flat bed. Maybe some electronics installed?? I want to run it this Sunday

Yup they fit perfectly! This chassis has enough adjustability in it to go from 11" to 12"+ wheelbase

I got them from a friend who found them on ebay. They are made by HPI and were in a very very old HPI package Thats all I really know about them, I might still have the package laying around somewhere, if I run into it I will let you know.

I did take this thing out to the rocks yesterday! I would have posted up last night but I was too busy working on this...

Hey Nluvwithxlr8ing, like your truck a lot! What brand & part # of shocks are you using? Is that just some delrin or aluminum side plates that you made for the electrics?

Hey Harley, will the production chassis come with the body mount side plates, or is it up to us to mount the body however we want? Thanks

I'm digging that full fame build. Makes me torn between a frame or tube frame but I will most likely go for a tube...until I build a second one.

They are 3racing shocks for the mini inferno. Thanks! Yeah the side plates I made, actually out of ABS but they work great and also gave me a nice rigid mount for the body too.

Did you use the shorter front shocks & longer rears or 4 of the fronts, or 4 of the rears on the chassis?
