Hey guys. As you can see, the prototype testers are done. But it may be a couple days before I can go pick them up. I'm a little busy, just got back from the nats. And don't mention my horrible disaster of a drive in the finals! There are allot of these that are going out to pre-determined individuals. If we have any left we'll have them up for sale on the site. I know we'll definitely have some of the short XTS testers for sale and we should have some of the longer x-trails available as well. In addition, I must mention here that these will have some melting around some of the edges. Photos of some of the melting will be added in the product photos when we put these up for sale so you guys can see exactly what your getting. Also remember these are made out of delrin for quick prototyping and are not made for severe abuse. There will be no warranty on the proto testers. I had a body painted up for mine too. What you guys think? |

so is there any way to get on the "pre-determined individual" list... Who do i have to sleep with around here to get some special treatment...sheesh! I'll just keep checking TCS every 5 mins. like i have been...i took work off for the next couple of days to make sure i get one of these....stupidity or dedication...the line keeps blurring. |

No update exactly on the chassis', I haven't talked to kevin for a few days. He will call me once he gets all caught up, but that might be after they are all already gone. That is some nice paintwork on that body, wood grain, color shifting paint, and is that a wood scorpian on the hood? You guys will truly get to see what a scaler right out of the box will look like huh. Glad he is using the stock body so you can all see. Last I talked to him he said he was going to run Geolanders on it. So we should have some nice 2.2's and 1.9's. All three sets of shocks came in last night too. I am going to try and get to them tonight and post some pictures of a few different possible setups. The best setups will probably come from you guys though. |

I was emailing with the fella that did the paint job on the Betty body. It's real wood glued in place. And it is a wood scorpion carving. "I have a bunch 8" x 10" samples of rare wood 1mm thick laminate. I could use chrystal clear epoxy to mount the real wood to the inside of the body and then give it a color shift paint job." Cool! |

Love it too. Gonna hopefully pick from some of your build options also.(tires, shocks, springs, rims).

The long proto testers (X-Trail) are going up on the site now. I have allot more short ones and they'll be up on the site shortly after. Only one per person as well. Thanks guys.
