Not sure who has them in stock. Last I checked the only place I could find them was rcmart.com. I usually buy from Rpphobby and I think I bought the last 2 sets they had a couple weeks ago.

I have the 2.2 SSD wheels on my bomber. I really like them. I also have there bomber rear axle too, just have to get the front one to match.

I decided my SSD wheels are going on my Bomber with a set of Rock Beast 2 tires. CI foams arrived yesterday, tires should be here Friday.

I'm at the last stage of checkout and realize that I can't move forward... Paypal has to ship to confirmed address and CC has to ship to billing address. Both are my home address. I need this shipped to my work address. Haha... Order on hold until tomorrow when I can call RPP.

Also, I am ordering 3 sets so I can mount the spare tire.

Is anyone interested in splitting the 3rd pair with me?

Got things cleared up with RPP and will hopefully be placing an order shortly.

Has anyone mounted the stock Axial BFG Baja's on these SSD rims?

I get that the stock tires are glued and not bead-lock; but, I have seen stock Axial BFG Baja's mounted up on VP bead-locks and the owner said it was a good fit with no issues. I made the assumption that the same would go with these SSD's. Experience anyone?

One learning struggle after another for me...

I finally decide to bite the bullet and get these wheels. I have also been researching tires after understanding that re-mounting the stock Bajas might not be the best idea. I decided I wanted to go with Proline Flat Iron XL's. Then I just realized SSD says that these wheels won't work with Proline tires... ?

Can someone with knowledge provide a little more understanding. I'm pretty sure Billinvic has Proline KR2's mounted on these wheels. Is it hard to mount or for sure a no go?

Tires I was thinking of were Flat Iron XL's, Pitbull Rock beasts or Axial Krawlers.

Got your PM p4b....I have mounted both P-L KR2 & Flat Iron XL tires using these wheels and there's no issues, not to worry!

These are very nice wheels from SSD, got mine yesterday. Mounted 2 of 4 yesterday, with Proline Flat Iron XL 2.2's and Bilinvic's Pineapple mod.

Wow, I just spent a bunch of money on something that I couldn't see myself buying even just a few weeks ago... and I'm super stoked about it!

Wheels have been purchased. I found someone to split the spare set with. I will most likely be picking up some Flat Iron XL's in the next few days. I will be picking up an extra set here as well for the spare. If anyone is running Flat Iron XL's and wants a match for your spare... let me know.

I love my SSD-RC wheels, look awesome and built very well. I was going to get the flat Irons as well, but i got MUD SLINGER 2 XL 2.2 because most people around here have them

I've searched and didn't find what I was looking for. Is it better to vent the rims or the tires? I've read you should drill and vent the rims; but, venting the tires was suggested in another post to make removing water easier.

Which are people doing?

- If venting the rims... how many holes and where?
- If venting from the tires... how many holes and where?

With the CI double deuce, the inner closed cell foams would block holes in the wheels making them useless. I vented my new rock beast 2 tires with four 2mm holes spaced 90 degrees apart in the center of the tread. I purchased a leather punch at Home Depot for $9 to get clean holes.

So... Any chance that there will be a 1.9 version of these?
