if you are worried about your gap with the short revo rod ends just get longer ones from traxxas and use just the revo balls. but as said the gap should be normally causing no problem and having a cheep and easy to replace weakpoint isn't bad. Gesendet von meinem T1-A21L mit Tapatalk |

The longer ones are too long. Had to use one regular and one long (cut down a little)

These links are VERY solid! I can't imagine having to replace them. I really don't know that Titanium would be worth the premium. However, I wish Vanquish would make an option for the suspension links ONLY. If that was available, then I would probably buy the Titanium steering links for the lower weight. I had been running a cheap SAVOX SW-0231 MG servo. Not the greatest servo. It has stripped twice (post Incision links). I don't know if the additional weight of the stainless links played a role. Probably not, but its left me wondering. |

the savöx 0231 is way too weak as a steering servo on rigs like bomber or yeti with max 15kg at 6v. i'm using it for my 2 speed option (which is a little bit over powered , but changes gears like butter )on my yeti. less than 20-25kg isn't recommended there, i'm using the savöx 1210sg as steering servo, but will change it to a hh shv500 if i get issues. i would recommend the hh shv500 if running 3s. My set comes in the today! cant wait to throw them on and see how it looks! If I want spare rod end I can go to my LHS and ask for traxxas revo rod ends or are they a certain kind?

I love these links. One other option to consider for Tie Rod ends are pieces from the Axial tree: AX31186. I have C-hubs and knuckles from the VP stage 1 kit along with a Poison Spyder diff cover. This combination caused the Tie Rod to bind on the diff cover when using Incision's included rod ends. The 4mm off-set ends from AX31186 solved the issue. And they are longer so you can trim to fit without a gap showing threads. |

So this happened tonight: [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] Interestingly, the steel link broke at the threads instead of breaking or bending the rod end. I only use my Bomber for slow technical crawling and not bashing although this did happen coming off a 12" - 18" ledge. Still strange as it landed on both front wheels and kept rolling. The disappointing thing is that while you can buy just a pair of VP lower links in Titanium ...and you can get a pair of Incision steel upper rear links ...you cannot get just a pair of Incision lower steel links. I'd love to find someone who bought the Wraith Incision links to go with Wraith length TA's and has the extra set of lowers still. |

I'm running the incision 1/4" as links up front on my bomber. Very beefy.

I haven't heard back yet. I contacted them via their website "contact us" form last Tuesday. Then I emailed them a few days later wondering if my initial contact went through. I'm hoping they'll respond to me in the same fashion they did with you. Quote:

Will one of you guys, please, upload a top down or bottom up picture of the clearance between the tire and the lower links at full steering lock?

Do you want a picture with rig "off" and full turn to see hypothetical clock? Or where they sit when the rig is "on" with end points set? P.s. tomorrow marks a week since I contacted VP and still no word... Last edited by powder4breakfast; 12-19-2016 at 10:49 AM. | |

I don't have photos....but I have VP stage 1, Axial universals, Promodeler servo, Incision hubs, and Axial BFG tires. With no servo set points, the wheels will hit the links.

I forgot to snap a photo. I'll do it today. But, just like drm above, I would hit the links. I have VP VVD, Stage 1 kit, sh-7954 servo with Axial horn. Proline Flat Iron XL's which are pretty big.
