Bomber vs Yeti U4 Racing

Opinions on which is a better base for U4 racing. Bomber, yeti or bomber with IFS conversion?

Essentially the Bomber is a Wraith front and a Yeti rear.
For U4 racing the IFS is "better" but the Bomber and Yeti both have their strengths and weakness' on different areas of a U4 track.
Then again if your on a U4 track chances are you are far from anything that resembles stock form.
End of the day its personal preference and driving style IMO

I race them both and the Yeti worked better for me racing U4 but the Bomber is no slouch. If you have the extra funds to put IRS on a Bomber go for it, Im sure it will handle much better. I like the look of the Bomber over the Yeti though.

They are 2 different classes and I'd imagine both are competitive and very popular. But it goes back to the same debate for 1:1 Ultra 4, IFS vs solid.
IFS is gonna handle like a champ at speeds, yet it will kinda drive or skid over the rocks (yeti)
Solid wont match IFS for handling, but in the rocks that solid front end is a big advantage (bomber)

Bomber with IFS swap...buying a Yeti is less work

That yeti has a fat belly. IFS Bomber for the win.
What work? These are toys easy and fun to work on.

My yeti is much faster(and easier to drive faster), but I think I end up having more fun with my bomber.... I have a technical course setup and the much extra steering on the bomber helps a ton. the bomber also allows you to pick lines, the yeti, seems you just plow into and over.

The steering on the yeti is the biggest drawback. If the Losi Rock Rey is anything like the Baja Rey, Lookout!!
