Am pretty sure you thought about it already but make sure you mount a wink to the front of whatever bumper you mount up there

Looking foward to the vid.
I'm still not sure if I'll wire up the fans yet or not, we'll see. I do have a winch for the front, but not sure if I'm going to mount it yet or not either. I'm messing around with some HPI bumpers to see how it all fits.

the fans, fuel cell, well, and spares are a great touch, now only if they made a 1/10 scale brad dumont action figure.
Thanks. The ESC and motor in the pics are prototypes, that's about all I can say right now. I'm probably going to switch over to a 12t Slash motor and my old Super Rooster and see what kind of speed I get with that combo. There is a lot of weight up high in the rear, but with all the electronics out front it is fairly balanced right now. We'll see if the 12t motor will pull the front end up or not.

Default I admire your skills

I was inspired by your creativity and happen to have a proline F150 body handy and about 4-5 blank CD cases too... You see where this is going...

So I've mounted the front 2 wheel wells and they're looking great, still have to finish rears and paint everything up.

Can't wait to see your finished product, amazing work!

bender i put a 27t motor in my rig and on carpet it wheelies no prob. wheelies much better without the body on since the frame rail cap slides really well on the carpet and keep the rig pointed straight. looking good as allways cant wait to see what else you make me want to add to my rig.

Damn, Brad!! You know you should try this stuff for a living or something, you're pretty good at it. This rates up there with the silver F150 prerunner you built awhile ago...I see alot of similarities. Very inspirational

i put a mamba max with the 4600kv and it is so fun, and it crawls also. just gotta work the throttle and get it all set up right on the esc.

Thanks.

I got the Hellfire bumper mounted up with some .090 aluminum flat stock. Bent it 90* then drilled holes in the stock front chassis brace to attach it.

It's off an HPI Hellfire. The overall width is 6 3/4".

This thing just keeps getting better

The Hellfire Bumper is a great match to the Diablo body

Now you need to cut out the windows, build an interior with roll cage and have some real window netting!
