Dam this went down with my morning coffee, cant wait to see that cage painted up.
On silver I'd be a big fan of black steelies and black cage but thats just me.

Nothing beats Crawler and a coffee. I'm planning on a black cage too...as for the steelies, I sold 'em. They just didn't do it for me. I'm planning on fresh paint on these wheels and doing new rings to change it up.

I had to finish up a few things so I could drive this stinkin' thing. Seems like i haven't been on the rocks FOREVER! I was very curious to see how it handled compared to how I started out. I have added quite a bit of weight (in the right places...I hope) and the obvious improvement of tires. I'm really happy with the way it performed...stuck some lines I couldn't with small tires and a hardtop, go figure huh!? As if it's not dorky enough to be taking pictures of my "toy truck" I was giggling as I was driving it on the rock pile.
The PitBulls are so sticky it makes me wonder what is going to break 1st.

I am going to lay down some paint on the cage one of these nights and then get it put back together so I can get some proper actions shots.

Thanks...I love the PitBulls! They are the 1.9's...not the biggest 1.9 but I really like the proportions of them

So I have decided to paint the cage work the go to color...BLACK. I know, not another black caged Jeep. Its either black or silver for me because I don't really dig the bright colored cages (usually). The silver looked good but it kind of washed out the body and vice versa.

I'm trying out Rustoleum Enamel Gloss Black and Enamel Gloss Clear.
Pics will be up as soon as it's dry enough to start putting it back together... AGAIN!

Hey man, I know how you feel. I felt like that a couple of months ago.
Thanks for the compliment.

I got the cage painted up this weekend and am REALLY happy with the results! The Rustoleum laid down very nice too. I put quite a few coats of black on followed up with several coats of clear. I waited longer than I wanted to before re-assembly just to make sure it was cured out.
I'm digging the black & silver...on to the pics!

I was able to make the whole thing bolt on/removable

Mandatory Poser shot

I got out on the rocks for a while. Loving the Pit Bulls! This thing wheels twice as good as it did before.
New beadlocks are next and repainting the wheels

My favorite!
