|  Troubleshoot.
A friends scx has a problem. He is running 2500mah 3s. Transmitter turns on, truck turns on but ESC doesn't chime or make any sound. Steering works, motor doesn't. All connections checked. Any ideas? |

Your battery died  In all seriousness I could only think maybe a trottle trim, etc got bumped? I know some esc's won't start up if it doesn't see the signal in the correct range that was programmed When doing the esc setup. Kind of a protection so it doesn't take off on you when you turn it on. What type of electronics are they? |

Did you try switching the channels around to see if you can still get steering by using the throttle?

Check the connections at the motor. The ESC needs a motor hooked up to actually hear a "chime", so if the connections are iffy, you won't hear anything.

Thanks guys. Motor wires are snug. Not sure about the throttle channel, I'm no longer with the dude. I don't think he's fixed it yet though.

Thanks everyone. The connection to the motor was sliced, couldnt see it until I pulled on them. It's running fine now.
