No problem. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. The Proline shocks and this lift mounted sideways with my 2.2 mudslingers really worked good for me. And by the way, if you mount the lift sideways the screws don't quiet line up with the holes in the shock hoop. They are very close but just a little off. You will need to start both screws and tighten them in evenly until the bracket tightens down to the shock hoop. If you just tighten one screw all the way in then try to put the other one in you will have a hard time. It works great.

I use a Level3RC lift mounted sideways, but a homemade setup could be easily made. This is my current Honcho I'm just getting started on. It has the stock shocks now but will be getting the Proline. This is what I mean by angling the shocks. It gives a little bit of lift and improves flex and stability. Also with this setup and the longer shock ends on the Proline power strokes, it clears 2.2 tires nicely.

This should be in the tips and tricks thread, going to try it when I get home tonight

It works really well. It improves flex even with the stock shocks. It's one of my favorite scx10 mods.

Awesome same tires I have. Been shopping for shocks. Saw some gmades 103mm on rc4wd. Not too sure how big of a shock is too big tbh

Well, I'm off to the upgrade wars! Got the SCX10 Honcho unboxed, picked up some Proline Powerstroke Scalers and the Axial Long Wheel Base aluminum Links kit. Here's some pics so far:
