so obviously the gen2 bec is robust enough to run the servo and the led kit..

So far I haven't had any issues. I want to power my LEDs separate though and set the BEC to 7.4V, my LED controller will only take 6V.

Well the logo rolled out with the new GEN3 motor we recently released info on. Just updating our look to go along with the new stuff I can't say much about yet...

are you confident in waterproofing the BL stuff or would you stick with the brushed if there is a chance the motor will go under water?

It can be done, CorrosionX seems to work well on the sensor PCBs in the motors and keeping the ESC in a box works good for splash resistance. I'd never drive under water on purpose though, I always try to keep water crossings scale to the rigs. I like to keep my stuff running.

Thanks. I new to the crawling stuff and all I hear is water proof and brushed. I would rather run BL and if I can stay BL and not worry about it just "in case" it gets wet.

I don't plan on driving under water, but from what I understand with the g6's you never know what you may come across.

Ty this is a very nice build. I like it in aspects you did some hand made and then some bought and you mixed it all together. I want to do a build very similar to this. I already have the tekin electronics we so we good there , now all I need is the jk body. Anyway I am thinking now you need to build or buy you an off road trailer, with the same wheels/tires and then I will be very jealous and want to buy your setup lol. Very nice man can't wait to see videos.

Can the rs gen2 run the roc412 with no issues? I thought the rx8 was needed to run it.

I've been running an RSG2 in this rig since the beginning, no issues. You'll likely want a BEC module or run the servo off a battery.

I have almost same setup. But RSG1. Would you mind posting your settings in the esc? I'm having trouble mostly with start up not being smooth.
