I just painted the buckets black, the LEDs still seem to put out plenty of light. I'm excited for some Knight Customs parts to show up!

Mocking up new parts today! Knight Customs Smittybilt XRC fenders are first up. The fronts posed the biggest challenge, which was making them mesh with the Vanquish Brawler Rockers and I came up with a solution that looks really nice and I'm happy with it. I cut a section of the rocker out and the fenders snug right up next to it with pretty much zero gap. Just need to punch 4 more holes for the fronts and dremel off all the excess lexan!

Tracks needed to some work to work right, so we 3D printed some new mounting brackets and got them to work on the F9s. It actually does pretty well in the snow now!

| Re: Ty's Axial Jeep JK build RC4WD and Xtra Speed are the two I have seen. We made new mounting brackets to eliminate the movement they allowed for. It puts a ton of load on everything but they do surprisingly well now that we are keeping them at about a 10* incline.

Printed a front skid setup for Rubitrax, helps a bit in the deep snow and just looks mean.

Changing up the JK steering and winch setup, swapped out my Jevne Brick plate for a CMS version, swapped the Vanquish Bumper CMS for a chassis mount and will be installing a servo for the winch in the empty mount. Also working on some new inner fenders!

Knight Customs exhaust setup looks great with that Currie F9. I'm officially in love with this rig.

Do you by any chance have the files for the 3D printed track mounts you made for sale or for download? The RC4WD mounts become very expensive when combined with the tracks, and it would be nice to have a cheaper alternative. Thanks! |

| Re: Ty's Axial Jeep JK build These only fit the F9 rear with truss and you still need the front knuckles even with the new brackets we made, it wouldn't help much. We just did it to keep them locked slightly inclined, in original form they move too much and it really affected performance.

Hit up a scale comp in Southern Idaho this weekend, had a blast! The JK ran great and I added plenty of new scars. Didn't do too bad even with no winch, hit 7 markers out of 300 and had no time penalties. Definitely wasn't the fastest out there but I enjoy driving at my own scale pace and watching my rig do its thing.

Been working on a zillion different rigs lately, the JK finally got some love. KMS stopped by the shop a few weeks ago and I ended up installing a KS-3 winch in the JK. Love that it can free spool! Just barely clears the body and the steering link mounted here, I think it'll do just fine!

I've looked at your pictures and studied this thread to try to nail down the exact Parts you used for your panhard Mount and your 3 link mount... could you please elaborate once more on how you did it? You seem to be the only one I can find that is running a CMS with an F9! Looks like this panhard mount: https://www.google.com/search?q=vanq...a_u8M1NLQdiFM: But what did you do for your 3 link Mount? Thanks a lot! I Last edited by HockmanRCBoys; 03-09-2018 at 09:20 PM. |

The panhard mount is the one you linked. For the upper link I used a Wraith Ackerman arm. It works pretty decent and was the only way I could figure out how to 3-link the F9 that was easily reversible! | |

Got the new Incision shocks from Vanquish yesterday, my are they beautiful. Filled the fronts with 40wt and rears with 37.5wt to try out on the JK. Very plush, can't wait to get out on the trail!
