So far I'm liking the Jevne plate, it feels very balanced and keeps the weight lower than having it between the frame rails up front. Still snow on the ground and I haven't driven it much at all during the build.

Got my spare tire from Parker and mounted it up on another Dick Cepek Gun Metal 7. Starting in on the LEDs, lots of wiring and figuring out how I'm going to accomplish the winch project. More to come!

The tail light buckets and lenses are Axial, same ones I put on my Wraith. Clean and easy to install!

Used a couple speed control grommets and mesh wire loom to run the wiring for the Rigid LED bar. Just need to solder in a switch and add a Deans plug for the 3S 900mAh LiPo I'll be running it off of.

It's the little details that really take a build to the next level. When those details actually perform a task, BONUS LEVEL status!!!

Found this nifty little box that fits my 3S perfectly so I mounted it under the driver's seat. Just barely clears the motor.

Wired in a 3A toggle switch and it's alive!

Started in on the LED project, so far so good! Got the head light / driving light buckets glued in place and 2 white, 2 blue and 2 orange secured in them. Silicone is drying right now, I used Permatex black. Now just to run the other 4 white LEDs and find my bumper lenses, along with put a switch in the cab for the whole light system.

Most of the LEDs are in, just a couple more to go! Also need to add a switch so I can turn all of them off.

Was that a carpet track I spied ? Im so jelly, I havent been able to run my tcx in a year. And guess what, tekin powered. First year I raced it ( read first season I have ever raced anything.) I took 2 in points for both sportsmans stock and superstock class with the same car sportin an rs / 17.5 redline combo.

Is that a mini eig8t in your under body shot on your desk?

Yep, carpet test track here at Tekin. We use it a bit for load testing and inter office onroad battles.

That buggy is actually my new TLR 22-4, awesome car. I have a Mini8 too, really impressed with the way it handles outdoor tracks for its size.
