In addition to drilling holes in the bottom of the receiver box, I sprayed Neverwet in the inside of the box. The result is amazing. Water droplets just roll around until finding the drain holes.

Here is a running video after applying Neverwet. I treated the insid of the electronics box and it was dry inside afterwards. I'm getting an idea treat the inside of my axle housings, I would drill a small drain hole in the pumpkins to allow any water to drain out. I think if you look at the video at the 1:19 part where the short out is i think it might be the led light on the esc because i believe that is where the led light is located. And while he is testing the electronics you can see the led blinking.
