| Re: what batteries do you run?
Question from a Lipo newb here. I just got back into Rc and I know NOTHING about Lipo's. I'm building a SCX10 Dingo and I'm installing a Tekin 35T Rock Crawler with FXR ESC. What Lipo should I look for here? Chargers? Whats this balance plug all about? Also I intend to eventually install a winch. Thanks guys but I don't have a clue lol

balance plug is for keeping the cells balanced. 2s or 3s lipo will work for that esc. if your running 3s then you'll need a bec to keep from burning up the rx. most rx are only rated for 6-9v.

I run the Thunder Power 2250 mah 3s packs in my scalers. Have had VERY good luck with them. Balance charge all of the time and get great run time even with bigger motors. |

| Re: what batteries do you run? Thank you! I think I'm going to use my NIMH Batteries I already have for now and get Lipo in a couple months. Gotta finish building the truck first lol

balance plug will basically keep an equal amount of voltage in each cells, also when you get a lipo charger look at the Thunder AC6, great cheap charger that will do anything.

nimh for the cold weather months when it's just plain nasty outside, and the extra weight seems to help me on muddy or snowy climbs. Nice weather gets the lipos.

I use SPC batteries for my Stampede 4x4 and love them and customer support. I will also be using them in my scx10 g6 as well.
