Iv seen so many wroncho's on here and I decided to build my own. heres my list so far 12.5 wb -stock wraith links -mirrored trans -wraith drive shafts. -gmad 93mm aerated shocks -wrath axles -scx10 frame -aluminum wheels -2.2 tsl's -vp wraith pan hard for the front w/ blue monkey mount for frame. I need advise on what is should do as far as if I should just make links for a 4 link setup front and rear or if I should pan hard front a rear. also what motor setup should I go with and will a 645m hitec work with the 2.2s here are pics of frame and just a mock up with links sitting in there ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Any thoughts on 4 link or pan hard ? Will a 645mg hitec have enough power to hold up the 2.2s? I'm thinking a tekin 35t system also

That truck just screams brushless but the Tekin 35t motor is awesome! I had one, although my FXR went up in smoke in less than 2 weeks on a fairly new 2s battery (still have the battery and runs just fine on my current ESC), the motor lasted a while, it's demise was a mud pit, I only go Castle for ESC's now, the waterproof SV3 is actually a really all around great ESC, can program it for brushless or brushed motors and the drag brake coupled with a great motor will hold great.

I love my Tekin 35T motor, there's enough power for me. I think brushless is too much power, that's just my opinion. I never had a problem with my esc everything works as It should. This is the best motor and esc combo i have.

The 645 mg is way under powered.

3 link+panhard up front works and looks awesome, as well as won't cause link/driveline contact. For the rear, I made some anti-squat cheater plates to raise up the rear upper links as well as get away from upper link/driveshaft contact. Any big tire rig screams sensored brushless, it can be too much power when the trigger finger is like a light switch. Drive it according to terrain and it'll treat you well ![]() |

Ya I'll get pics tonight, the trans is mirrored so drive shafts don't hit with pan hard up front. What servo does anyone suggest then?

worked on it a lil today and mocked up pan hard for the front after I did the frame swap. The other frame was cute right behind the rear shock towers so it was not gunna work o be able to pan hard the rear. Here are some pics of the new panhard 3 link set up and drive angles ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I've got a hitec hs 7954sh, im running 1.9 wheels so I don't know if you want to go a different route because you got 2.2's. Now that I think about it I should of got a water proof servo. ![]() |

finally got time to work on the rear 3 link. now I just need motor and and cms. I ordered one from vanquish since it sits all the way up front and should be outta the way from the front 3 link. I went ahead and mounted my rc4wd wireless winch to my bumper. just don't know if I wanna hide under body or leave out fornt. ANY OPTIONS ? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by SkyJacked; 01-08-2014 at 07:46 PM. Reason: add picture |
