Default SCX10 Question

Hey guys, I know that I am new here but I have a question.

I got my axial SCX10 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon kit for Christmas last year. Like 4 months ago Christmas. It is my first 1/10 4x4, or even my first scaler/crawler. I love that thing to death, it is easily my favorite RC that I have.

I have a Traxxas Rustler VXL and the SCX10. Since it is my birthday today my parents are letting me gets about $180 worth of upgrades for my RCs. Since my rustler is very upgraded, I've decided to go ahead and spend that money on my SCX 10.

The only problem is, since I'm new to that part of the hobby I don't know what to upgrade. As of right now it's not doing any crawling or scaling at all, in fact it's just driving over the snow at speed up here in Wisconsin

. I don't want to put an expensive brushless system in it, I will be getting the Tekin FXR/35t combo later in the summer when it actually needs that torque. I already have the electronics that I need.
So I am just wondering what the top 10 upgrades are for durability and to prolong the life of this and so I am driving it more than I'm fixing :-).

I am new to the scaler hobby, but not to the RC hobby in general. So like I said I have $180 to spend and I would like quality upgrades. I know I'm going to need different driveshafts.

If I were you I'd start out with c-hubs knuckles and a good set of beadlocks.

I would start with MIX drive shafts and RRP tranny gears. You should still have $100 so you could get the vanquish link kit. Hope this helps.

C-hubs, Knuckles and universals. Will make it turn so much nicer. After that focus on upgrading the drive train, if you want.
