| [HELP] Scx Axle XR Mod
So ive hit a crossroads I knew I would with my current setup, ive stripped out my vp 8* chub on the lower screw so im dead in the water now. It would hold before and sort of hold on but now its completely done for and ive been curious about the xr mod on the scx axle for a while, I hear good things about it performance wise and durability too, so fill me in guys how do I go about this? I have steel beef tubes in the front end right now so I'd like to keep a steel tube up front if I can. I wanna keep it all vp too, flat black, no flash.

They have beef tube in xr width. I just installed a burly tube from rcbros. The spline make it so easy. |

What those guys said and BiggaH makes them in steel but no splines. Go with RCBro tubes they are they best yet. Other than that you will need XR universals, Wraith C's and Wraith knuckles.

I actually just saw the burly tubes I like em, does anyone know of the weight difference between biggin69 steel tubes and the burly aluminum tubes? I love my bias right now and I wouldnt want my rear end being heavier axle wise.

We offer both brass and aluminum to help those who want offset weights.

I would say the brass from RCBro's would be very close to the other steel version . I have had both and I will tell you the RCBro's burly tubes are miles ahead .

I've had two different companies XR-10 width tubes and in my opinion BDN has the best set of tubes out there. The thing I didn't like about RCBros tubes is the collar to hold it all together. here is the link t BDN's tubes BmachineRC Splined "Repair" tubes checkout my rig thread for pics G'out G6 |

Yes I did not like the collar either one other thing I don't like about them is installing the c-hub You dam near have to hammer it on and off acouple time to loosen it up and even them it's a fight. |

Does anyone know if the XR mod works with the new Wraith Scale C's and Knuckles? Or do we need the older ones?
