If you email customer service at Axial they will let you know the exact color and paint brand. I did that for the Silver on the Rubicon. |

i sent them an email yesterday afternoon and got a general response advising that my question has been sent to the product support team and i should get a response in 24/48 hours. can anyone suggest a color similar to that by chance  |

These guys used Krylon Ultra Flat Camo on the outside. It appears that the newer version of this paint has the Fusion additive. Badger's Axial SCX-10 build w/ Proline CGR body & Accessories  First documented build  |

Will the fusion additive that you mentioned allow the paint to adhere to lexan just like polycarbonate paint would? Sent from my iPhone |

No. Most, not all, accounts I have read of people who have tried the Fusion paints say it did not work. THAT SAID I doubt they were using the Krylon Ultra Flat paints which may be different. If you have an old RC body, or even some of the left over scraps from trimming the body, give them a light sanding and then spray some of the Krylon on to test it. then bend, flex, and bang it up to see how it hold up. There are also adhesion promoters that can be used. Are you wanting to paint on the inside or outside of the body (gloss or flat)? | |

My plan is to paint the inside as per usual methods, then spray the outside with tamiya ps-55 flat clear. I know it may scrape off over time but I can always touch it up if I need to Sent from my iPhone |
