You can see the upper link (replaces the stock Y link) that goes to top of the axle | |

| Re: CMS for scx10 dingo Because of the link length. The brackets will work. The panhard link should work great, as will the drag link, but the upper three link bar will need to be shorter.

Actually, The panhard location is gonna be too far forward if using any 12.3" WB CMS on the dingo. If you look in this thread I posted awhile ago, you can see how the brackets will differ from the OG SCX and Dingo WB to those used with the 12.3" WB of the Honcho/Jeeps/ http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axial...omparison.html If you use the VP CMS bracket that I have pictured in my thread, you could definitely use it with a Dingo WB, but you would secure the panhard to the OUTSIDE of the rear panhard tab and simply put a revo ball in between the tabs to shore it up. You would need to sort out your own axle truss though. Last edited by TSK; 06-05-2014 at 12:47 PM. |

^^^ this guy beat me to it CMS for dingo positions servo bracket/panhard mount further back and uses a shorter 3rd link for correct wb. The honcho is further forward to accommodate wb and clear the pumpkin/link mount better. |

To the OP: I'd just get the basic BMRC DIY CMS (that's a lot of acronym) and add the chassis panhard mount, axle panhard mount, and 3 link truss options. You can make all your links out of traxxas rod ends and 1/4" all thread Should be about ~ $50 + whatever it costs you to make links Last edited by Crawl Space; 06-05-2014 at 03:00 PM. I thought the panhard location would be to far forward with a cms for 12.3 wheelbase? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

From what I saw of the bmrc mount, you should be able to use it for short wb. At worse, you could fab a bent drag link to angle it back a bit. Pm bluemonkey and ask, he's always been good w replies. |

BMRC CMS puts the panhard mount forward for use with the 12.3" WB. a bent panhard may get it to where it needs to go, but may result in some other linkage clearance issues Best option is to find a non-honcho Hand Bros kit or pick up the non-bumper mount CMS bracket from VP and use a Hand Bros or rc4wd axle truss. The latter may cause super minor bumpsteer since they are not designed specifically for each other, but it should make for a much easier and nicer end result. Just remember, all the current SCX offerings run the 12.3" WB except the Dingo, so most manufacturuers will make their CMS for what is most popular, which the Dingo is not. |
