Default I want to build another SCX10

So I have the 6x6 but I'm really wanting to tackle another truck project. So far I've got the main bits sorted out but I want some input of what direction you think would be a cool way to go with it.

So far I'm thinking...

-SSD D60 axles front and rear,
-Sensored Brushless (3s but 2 pole) and CCBEC
-PitBull Rock Beasts on 1.9 steel beadlocks I have laying around
-RC4WD Warn 9.5cti
-3D printed bumpers once I decide a design..
-Home made links most likely
-CMS
-32P gearing

Either it's going to be a Deadbolt RTR or I'm going to go ground up..

Body is up in the air.. I have a Ford Atlas body laying around but not sure if it's what I'm really wanting.
I've thought about making a custom, short chassis and making a roll cage style (side by side) or RR10 style body.. But not sure how this would go with the SCX frame.
Not much of a Jeep fan or old model truck fan..

I want it to be something that would look in place on the big trailer for the 6x6 .. Which is eventually going to become a 6x6 EarthRoamer.. But that project is going to have a learning curve.

What would you do?

2 options here:

1. Buy a Dingo kit, they are about $50 less than the Deadbolt and you were planning on ditching the stock electronics anyway.

2. Buy a stripped RTR from ebay for about $175

Going piece by piece will certainly cost more than buying a whole truck but you will end up with only the parts you want.

I was able to recoup the extra money paid for the deadbolt by selling the radio, esc and servo. I also traded the tires/rims for other parts i wanted. YMMV, but I suggest the deadbolt since it already has 32p gears.

Thanks for the input! I made my 6x6 from a dingo and yes that really is a decent deal.. But, I want WB8HD driveshafts that the dingo does not have and the 32p gearing. Finding a used SCX on eBay has been a bit of a struggle.. But I'll keep looking.
