Most likely (all) bearings has ceased.

Open the thing and try to spin the bearings, if they are not 100% smooth, replace with new ones. Sizes can be found in the appropriate PDF manual found at Axial's website.

+1 Open the axle and see what's going on inside. I've had dumb things like a tiny rock stuck in behind a gear mess things up. Simple fix.

Another easy thing to do is disconnect your driveshaft and spin it from there to make sure it's not a driveline binding issue.

If you find its the bearings, might as well an get the Fast Eddy bearing kit and replace the front and rear bearing sets

So what exactly would I be looking for on the bearing if they're shot

They won't spin smoothly. Might be in pieces. Should be pretty easy to tell

So I opened up the rear diff pulled out the big gear and inspected it,the bearings, and the housing for debris. It was all good.put the assembly back together and now it some how spins freely with the only difficulty being the weight of the gear.so the the only part left to inspect is the front diff because the transfer case was good and the rear diff assembly. Then I guess put it back together and run it and see if my run time improves before this it started at about 1-1.5 hours down to like 5-15 minutes.so hopefully it goes back to that

Do both front and rear diffs spin freely? What about the center transmission? Drive shafts binding?

Did you put new grease in there while you had the axle apart? It does eventually break down, even if you never take the thing off road and get dirt and water in there.

Front Axle is fine too could be the transfer case or the batteries and electronics arent what they used to be

Everything worked great until I accidentally rolled it of a 20 so foot drop destroyed the steering servo and bent one or both VP vvd's on the front
