Thanks! I actually left the wheelbase of the stock kit and it fit the body really well.

If you don't mind, I am totally gonna rob this idea in the future! I just need to learn how to solder properly.

Great looking rig man! Had I known there was this much awesome stuff in the RC crawling world, I would have gotten into a long time ago!

How did you get the rear bumper to sit in so well with the body? Mine is sitting like an inch too far back

Its in the closest hole, no modifications. Is it possible your body is shifted forward?

I don't think the body is forward. the wheel wells match up pretty well. Did you use the rear bumper from the nukizer? I didn't attach mine....

edit: I also used the stock mounting holes in the hood and bed.

and heres an overhead shot of the rear w/o the body. Im stumped :(

Just realized what I did... I used a bumper mount from another bumper (AX80125 for example).

Axial Racing - SCX10 Poison Spyder JK Brawler Lite Front Bumper

That will suck it in about 1 inch.

fantastic, thanks!

I've been racking my brain on this and drawing complete blanks cuz the bumper is shaped kinda odd to take off material.

Just a few additional holes for the 2 speed transmission mounts. Everything up front will transfer over no problem.

So let's see if this thread still works lol.

How did you do the turn signals in front? I'm going to ditch the stickers and install LEDs and the light buckets, but I'm not sure how you got the front turn signals to look so good.

I used the transparent decals for the turn signals and the buckets are painted silver. Its been a while... I had to go back and look through the build on Axial's blog!

Interesting, my stickers aren't transparent at all. Guess I'll try the amber turn signal paint and see if I can not screw it up lol
