| Rowdys Trail Comp Wraith
I got my Wraith a little over a week ago and immediately started tearing it down. I must say over all I really like it, and look forward to making it my own. Here is a list of the building materials so far. Hitec 7950 servo Proline 2.2 Super Swampers Vp Ti steering links Brood Onslaught Type GS 25 Turn motor Mip drive shafts Proline 1972 Chevy C-10 body Futaba 4PKS radio gear VP Hurtz shifter dig VP 2.2 1" V1 slw's Axial aluminum upper links CC SV2 esc, that I have waterproofed with plasti dip CC bec, that I have waterproofed with plasti dip Vp Ti lower links Steel idler gear for the trans I am sure I left something out. There are other things I want to do to this rig but this list should keep me busy for a while. Here she is fresh out the box. Here it is with the new Swampers on VP V1 slws, VP Ti steering and lower links, as well as Axial aluminum upper links from when I ran my XR-10 with the stock chassis. Here is a quick and very crude mock up of the body I want to use. I had this one lying around from a nitro Revo I have, and I decided to chop it up to see if it would fit. I have a new one on the way that will be easier to mount since it will be clear. I have seen some Broncos on here and decided the Wraith section needed a Chevy. I was looking at that exact tire combo! Would you mind weighing one of those sets for me, so I could compare to another 2.2 setup I have laying around? If it's too much trouble no worries. That will be a sweet truck... |

Mounted please. I have RC4wd rock crushers on RPP limited's wheel, and I have a feeling it is quite a bit heavier. Some weight low to the ground is ok, but this thing is gonna get more air time than a 747! |

Does your wraith have stock ax10 m.i.p. driveshafts? How are they mounted on both ends? Drilled holes through the pinion???? Are they long enough?

| I have not used them yet. I bought the AX-10 no dig shafts, just have to get some 4mm pin style set screws like Harley, and everything should bolt right on.

I finally got some time to get this thing finished, but I ran into a snag. I have a brand new Hitec 645 that I was planning on using for the VP dig, but somethings not right. The servo buzzes really loud and gets almost too hot to touch within a couple minutes. Is it just a bad servo or what? Yes I have BEC! |

What voltage is driving it? I'm being lazy here, what radio are you using and is it set to digital or analog?

| 4pks radio, powered from the rx, I have a bec set @6v. I hooked up a 7980 and it works flawlessly, the 645 also goes back to center really slow. It does the same thing whether it's in ch3 for dig or ch1 for steering. The 645 is an analog servo is that a problem?
