I checked back on Towers on my preorder, and noticed that the price has been brought down from 309.99 to 299.00. This may sound like a good deal if your were using the $50 coupon, but the catch is that the cut off price has to be above 299.90  which will void the coupon if you leave it alone. I cancelled the order, and re-ordered it, this time with the $40 coupon. In a nut shell, you still get it for the same price. Tricky bastards. you can also add something in it so the $50 will be honored. |

I've been waiting on the kit. Personally I'm digging the black wheels and clear panels, allows for customization. I also like the universals, they look like the XR10 joints which seem pretty strong. I've already got a Spektrum radio and a new waterproof Holmes BRXL..... Now I just gotta find the best deal and order one.

ok, first thing, Towers got the kit in stock and packing it as I type. It'd be nice if towers had the capability to let you know when the kit arrives so you can choose the shipping method. The lady on the phone told me that all pre-orders will be shipped via ground and that I had no choice. I don't know, but that just doesn't sound right. All the other places that I order from will give me a shipping choice when the back order comes in. The lady also said that it would not be possible to let people know because they don't have enough man-power(?)Anyway, I wanted 2nd day air, but I'll have to wait about 2-3weeks (yes, ground takes that long to get here) |

oh another thing. if you pre-ordered using the 299.90+ $50 coupon, it will be voided because it now only applies to $300.00 or more. Make sure you add something cheap to the order before they ship it out. Weird since this is what I got when I did my previous order: And yes, they will not honor this as of now. Is this false advertising? |
