A press release has not been made. Axial simply released the part numbers to distributors and the news obviously got out. They will do a full press release soon I'm sure.

According to the guy i talked to at axial, everything should be the same with the exception of new aluminum lower links, and aluminum steering links too, and that is all that is different

Sweet, so they just waited to see what we were doing to them, mainly replacing all the plastic links, and then making the kit without the crappy parts. Someone should should tell the to ditch all those cutting screws I'm the knuckles and chubs. That was a stupid idea.

I'm sure they were aware of how everything would go. The construction is very similar to the other RTR Axials. Kits just generally come with upgraded parts.

Yes there are a couple threads in this section about it already.

Axial released the part number to the distributors but it wasn't intended for public release really. Axial will do a press release when they are ready to give the details of the Kit.
