| The 32 pitch setup is nice , I am setting up my WraithLuse for a KOH this weekend and I swapped in a 62T spur. Its tight but looks like it will work. Its still running a 12t pinion.

After being very unhappy with the junky 3racing winch I knew I wanted to convert a servo into a winch. I tried several ways to mount a full size servo in many different positions, but I was not happy with the position of the fairlead or how it would exit the front of the rig. I wanted something as centered as possible. When looking for options I kept the Hitec 5646mg servo specs in mind as man use this as there winch. Wanting it dead center as possible I knew a Low profile servo was my best bet. So I robbed one off my MRC I chose the Futaba S9551 which has 136oz of torque at 6 volts. However we've been running them at 7.2V so far with no issues, so I'm going to cross my fingers and hope it does well. If you look closely above I knew I needed a fairlead up front. The best way I saw fit was to utilize the same holes the front lights are mounted to. But I didn't want to eliminate them. So I chose to make a quick "prototype" mount for the front while I was at it. The fairlead mount will be rounded and possibly delrin as well. |

No, not at all, usually Sasquatches are quite thin arent they? They cant get fast food, no drive thru for them. I just saw a figure off in the shadows in the background and i thought, "Must be a Sasquatch" they are curious creatures, maybe one was checkin out your wraith. | |

I like how your using the xr10 wheels. Will they work with stock wraith lockouts and knuckles and c-hubs? Or will I have to get vp parts

XR10 wheels will work with both these are just axial aluminum upgrades. Same as stock. Make sure to check out Fubars rock rings they really make a set of "cheap" wheel look good! |

Finally got back in the shop to do some work on this thing. After weighing my electronics verse my lipo I decided it was best to run my electronics up front. Plus I didn't have to extend them I wanted some type of electronic box up front and the stock scx10 box fit the bill perfectly. After marking the holes and tapping, the mount was snug. Since everything was now up front, I decided to shorten all the wires to make room inside the box. I ordered some of these guys from work so no more soldering was needed. Simply strip the wire and crimp on a new connector. The only thing hard about doing this is just the fact everything is so small You can see alot of room is saved by doing this. Then I heat shrunk my remaining items, cut them to length and added new connectors. I managed to make 2 servos, mamba, bec and leds look somewhat clean. I waterproof the mamba so it should be fine out in the elements. |

Just finished the drawing update for the machinist. We are also working on some serious beef 4340 rear axles with lockers so we can put the power to the ground.
