Thank you sir. When you play with wires all day long you begin really caring about how your wires look

Not bad for some scrap and my bandsaw lol

Got to take the newly upgraded wraith out to Billy Chinook, Oregon which is an epic place for crawling. Hit some jumps, nailed the throttle and did some crawling.

Hopefully this video keeps you alittle entertained. Let me know what you think.

Really nice rig all around! I'm currently deep into my Ridgecrest mods but I've requested a Wraith kit for Christmas - I know it seems like a ways off, but...

Thanks for keeping us up to date with your build.

Cheers,
Todd

I saw earlier in the thread you used conformal coating and then liquid tape...I've always just used liquid tape only..what does the conformal coating do? (never heard of it just read the bottle in the picture!)..thanks!!

Conformal coating is that shiny coating you see on most high quality circuit boards from the manufacturers. Castle Creations uses it on most there items. Its waterproofing the board, just like the liquid electrical tape. I just do both for added measures.

Because the conformal coating is so much thinner it does a good job of getting into the tight spaces and coating evenly. The liquid tape sometimes misses these areas.

Well you guys are no fun.. If you look at this picture, you will see the new tires I picked up this week. Wow what a difference they make. I also switched out for some Axial aluminum stock length shocks, and if you see a blue lipo under the frame, thats what the above picture was for

Being able to remove a upper link with the VP CMS kit made it possible for me to get some more room for a lipo underneath. Moving all my weight up front and as low as possible. Plus its way easier to change!

Also got my winch installed with some Team3six winch rope. I added a stopper and spring to my winch so I don't suck the sucker up this time lol.

With the new shocks it flexes so much better but doesn't seem nearly as top heavy either.

Guess my rig is boring But here's some more progress

I did some searching to find a mean looking driver for m rig, but just couldn't find one without driving all over town. I settled with a Metal Mullisha driver who fits nicely inside.

As you can see, the Team3six seats make it easy to mount a driver inside, and wow do they look killer.

Rig is now done and ready for King of Lucia at Scale Championships

Great job on the new battery mount. Doubt my 3300 3S packs would fit like that but I have to try now

Rig looks good.
Move the drivers seat up & the figure fits great, I have the same guy in mine & ground the left arm & shoulder (Shoe Goo works for glue) a little to get it to reach the steering wheel.

Assuming your 3300 is just thicker I think it will work. I could have laid the pack on its side and had tons of room. But I wanted it tucked into the frame more so I laid it on its side.

Changing packs is a breeze now.
