Thank you! I'm hoping to get some parts rolling again which should be the motivation factor off $$ to get him going.

Finally got to take it outside today and get some play time in. She'll be taking a trip to the coast this weekend to have some fun.

Got to put about 3 hours of drive time into the wraith this weekend. No issues at all. Motor is alittle slow so I'm going to play with the timing alittle.

Finally picked up a Tekin Speed control for my motor and got me a warpig spool to finish off my winch. Just need to get me a set of universals and I think I'm good for awhile. I would like to get some ti links just haven't wanted to spend the money yet.

We are now cutting rear wraith covers for those interested. Here's mine:

Only $10 and really helps the rigs looks.

Next is the liquid tape. Fun!

Well I'm getting a little more done. Took my trany apart to find a blown spur gear. Always nice when the cheap piece blows. I'd like to get the ultimate mod piece from super shafty just trying to stay on a budget for once.. In due time.

Finished waterproofing my electronics too.

Coated the ESC with liquid tape.

The case fits on, its alittle tight and doesn't fully close but with the 4 screws were good to go.

Coated the motor as well.. Overkill? Maybe but thats ok.

Got some goods from Team3six coming, would like to get a narrower set of wheels before NSC.

Picked up a set of universals to get me by for a bit. Wanted to try and make these rock beast taller so I put some them on a set of VP wheels I had laying around. They are about .5" taller now overall.

Universals in

And the wheels..

Took the wraith with me half together to work to tinker with during my lunch break. A couple hackles later I blew something up in the front. Thought for sure it was my locker, but to my surprise the ring gear went.

I knew I should have shimmed it, but now she's fixed.

I was also having some twitching/glitching issues. I went ahead and wired my BEC directly to the steering servo, and also found my heyok controller for my winch wasn't making the receiver happy. I have no clue why as its never been used for pulling anything yet. But for this weekend I'll leave it out.

Good pics make for a good build thread

As far as the glitching, are all the grounds connected at the rx? I'm running a heyok controller/servo winch from the esc at 6v and have a bec straight to steering servo at 7.4v. All star grounded with little to no glitches.

hooked up as per instructions. I'll check it out after the weekend, just in a time crunch to get it working properly for some scale bashing. Thanks!
