Hey Slimfire,

No issues at all, I was worried it might be a problem but it is fine. I did make sure not to wrap or coil any wires, kinda randomly folded them back and forth to fit. Also forgot to say that I opened up my FXR, removed the on/off switch and soldered a jumper between the two pads so that it is always on when the battery is plugged in. Coiling wire can create more problems. Let me know how yours turns out...what are your specific electronics?

I have it too ;)

Yep yep yep! That brace helps but the stock battery tray is what I'm using now because it gives the whole rear of the truck more support.

Thanks Natedog,

I am using robitronic brushed 55t crawling and Robitronic ESC speedstar 2 crawling (maybe not very popular but does a good job for crawling) + BEC by CC 10 amp

At the moment I have battery and RX in the front and ESC and BEC in the rear but I was looking for a unique box to put all electronics together including the light system unit.... just worried about some bad experiences of some buddies by having all together...

I will try and let you know

Thanks!

PS great rig!

Somebody liked how my R35 white dot Ripsaws were hooking up so well that they tried on my spare set and bought them after only one test drive lol. Ditched his old trusty HP white dot Rovers, Ripsaws look great on the Mayhem wheels, width and height fit just right! A little custom foam manipulation and he was side-hilling better than my home made two-stage setup. Wraith is top heavy compared but still hangs tough and the two trucks often found slightly different lines up some really nasty granite climbs. We were working a really tall and steep granite face having a great time with new tires mounted up until he took a fall and snapped a 3Racing CVD outer stub axle and we didn't have all the necessary parts to fix it in our field bags. Made notes of things to be sure to include in trail parts. The 3Racing CVDs have held up great for several years, but sooner or later everything breaks when abused long enough. I'd buy them because they have lasted a long time, but the Axial set in my SCX Honcho definitely are higher quality steel.

These tires just plain work and look great imo!

Perfect evening light after a good swim.

Thanks man I love that one too, hard to come home to city after a day of crawling like that.

Went to reinforce some spare WB8 driveshafts last night. I measured again last night and need 0.228" od CF tube for inside the male driveshaft peice, cut to length and just CA them in. Don't forget to put the screw down inside the shaft first LOL. Now I have to return the CF I bought and get right size.

Easy, just slip it in back by the windshield like all the pics on here, laid down in edge-wise with length of pack across the chassis. Then slide it slightly forward and secure with an Axial battery hold down velcro strap around the upper chassis tube (that goes across under the hood), around each end of the battery, and around the lower chassis tubes where they curve downwards to meet the front of the skidplate. Looking if I have a pic...

Making some room for something.

Little CA and black ShoeGoo, the input shaft does not rub on the gear cover.

Heres what i did to mine it looks good & adds more bracing, you would have to buy a new roof tho, i just chopped them at the end & bent them up (excuse the crappy cell phone pics & this was just when i was just the rough mock up)

Hallo Natedog,

I would love to see a pic of the 5000mAh 3S fit under your hood...

I just bought a Turnigy 5000mAh 3S 30C Lipo Pack (T5000.3S.30) (Pack Size: 145 x 49 x 27mm). I already moved my battery to the front...but Ic annot figure out how to make the new high capacity 3C fit under the hood...

Actually did not start disassembling the front yet but a pic of yours would be greatly appreciated.....

MANY THANKS in ADVANCE

Nice.

Slimfire, see what I can do...I've been working extra hours...mine fit easy.

Here's another update making more room, my shorter gear cover, drilled new holes to hold dash to tranny tunnel in floor pan about 1/4" farther rearward, attached with buttonheads and a couple blue anodized aluminum flanged locknuts (less weight lol) then trimmed the lower dash and the floorpan transmission tunnel back 1/4" or more....making room....

does yours lay down on the short side or on the longer side?
I mean assuming the
Pack Size being 145 x 49 x 27mm, is yours sitting on the 49mm side facing down or on the 27mm side?
(I understand the long side (145mm) is sitting across the main length of the car...correct?)
