I suppose you're right, but why spend another 33%? $45 for the shafts then another $14 seems unreasonble. Particularly if you can simply drill them out.

Have vp lockers in my currie axles on my wraith. Anyway to get the slop/lack of engagement quick fixed in my front axle. Or is it a matter of vp axles or new locker???

Is the RRP gen3 slash slipper a straight bolt on upgrade or do any other parts need changing to fit it??

You need the super shafty top shaft for that to fit.

Tried to order stuff from super shafty web site , but it won't let me check out ?

Maybe it was because I was on the ipad, I will try with laptop later today.

Well I just tried to order bomb proof trans again with laptop and still no-go :-(

Gives the same error message when I click paypal at the end of order. Says the shipping address provided by the merchant is invalid and the merchant has requested that your order must be shipped to that address !

Have you tried contacting rick directly? send him an email to sales@supershafty and I'm sure he'll get you fixed.

VERY DISAPOINTED, bomb proof = broken out the box
That's unfortunate that there was a machining error. But as you'll likely see on this forum that is going to be a very rare thing to hear from Rick.

Depending on your MIP hubs you may check that they are not slightly too long on the back side. Their tolerances could easily be slightly different as well. 2 minutes with a piece of sandpaper could possibly fix your entire problem.

Im new to the wraith scene, but why do you run underdrive gears in the rear and factory gearing in the front? I tried to find the answer but didnt see it anywhere.

It helps with crawling more technical climbs since it will slow down the rears slightly resulting in the front slightly pulling the rig up and instead of the rear wheels pushing up and making the rig tend to topple over.

Hey Harley, you list the axle truss as an upgrade for bulletproofing. My question is, whats the purpose of this? Is it really a failure point? I'm trying to slowly set my Wraith up to take a beating but got hung on this one.

It's not required or high on the list but it it does allow you to clamp the servo plate down better and also fixes the off center upper link issue.

Ok i had a few questions for Harley or whoever answers lol. Im running the factory wraith trans with the s.s. beefy shaft, the R.R. 32 p 56t slash slipper upgrade, R.R. 14t pinion, and hr metal gears. i was gonna run the wraith MIP's and was just wondering if that will be substantial or do i need to upgrade my outputs. is there any other mods you'd suggest trans wise? Also is it a smarter mod to run the metal trans case and motor plate or is it more of a cosmetic upgrade. What are the real benefits? and i know this is and older sticky but good job again Harley its been really helpful like all of your posts. my wraith is in the $1500+ range which i never thought would happen, but it sure can take a beating now. And i still haven't covered the price i paid to upgrade my one 1 ton axle on my 1:1 rig so can't complain.
